“Dan's the BEST!! Prior to leaving Florida for CA in December, I had a winterizing kit put on my Roadtrek. I did not try it before I left and when I needed it found it did not work correctly or at least the pump kept drawing air. I stopped at a Camping World in TX and they said I needed a new water pump, so they installed one. Since it was 5:00 pm Saturday, I left in a hurry anxious to get back on the road. Wrong, silly mistake on my part. Still didn't work right. 


When I arrived at the Western FMCA rally in CA, I found Dan and was glad he was there as he had helped me before. He went to work and determined that one of the valves on the winterizing kit was faulty, so he took it off and the pump worked fine. No more problems.   Dan’s very good at troubleshooting and this is his second time to do this for me. He is very pleasant, works hard, is fair and his prices are very reasonable. He also follows up with you to be sure you are happy and that things are still okay. We sure don't find this kind of service very often anymore. I wish he lived close and I could use him all the time.”

“Dan Neeley has performed several repairs for me over the last several months. First, he replaced the bullet light in the rear of my motorhome with an led light. Next, he installed special caps on the lead acid batteries, greased the battery tray, and suggested that the back tray be replaced when I returned home from the west coast.


I had broken the fiberglass molding on the bottom of the front door. I was afraid I would need to go to a body shop, but Dan was able to reattach the molding for me.


Lastly, I was on the east coast, he on the west coast, when I had trouble with my inverter. By phone, Dan had me perform several tests by which he determined that the inverter was bad. With this knowledge, when I went to the dealer who tested the inverter and determined that it was bad, I knew that this was the problem and had a new inverter installed.


Dan is very professional, very knowledgeable, and will take the time to be sure his work is done correctly. I am glad to know Dan and highly recommend him.”

“Working on a Roadtrek can be very complicated. Class B’s are so compact. 


Installing solar panels in a Roadtrek is not an easy task. Dan takes the time to study that particular coach to determine the best possible way to install the solar system. He understands the pride we take in our coaches, and makes sure it is a very neat job, with no wires showing. Mounting the solar on top of the Roadtrek is also another task, Dan makes sure it is a clean look and well secured.

“Kathy and I just returned from a fabulous ten day trip to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and a week of camping in Utah. What a great time of the year to explore the Southwest.  


I am happy to report that because of your preventative maintenance we had a trouble-free adventure. All systems continue in the green. Because of a wide range of temps we made use of virtually all components.


We're getting temps in the mid 30s in the refrigerator on a setting of "3". The door remains closed throughout the trip, including on really curvy roads thanks to your fix. The generator is smooth, even at high elevations. The water heater is working perfectly. The furnace warmed us up nicely on cool evenings in Utah and the AC was excellent when we were plugged in at Mesquite, NV. All hinges and latches are working nicely.

“The 12 volt house battery in our Roadtrek 190 was hard to maintain. The single battery limited the number of days we could boondock. We wanted to improve the system by installing two absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries.


We needed someone with a proven record of working with Roadtrek electrical systems – someone like Dan Neeley who did the excellent installation of a Progressive Industries power protection unit for us in 2011. Thanks to Dan Neeley, we now have two 12 volt AGM house batteries, a 4-stage converter charger to maintain them efficiently and a TriMetric battery monitor. We are happy campers.


Dan did a large amount of research and preparation before he arrived in Oregon. He consulted with the battery and battery monitor manufacturers, as well as the RT factory.

This “project” was actually three major tasks and it took three long days after Dan arrived with all the parts and pieces. He is highly organized and he focuses on doing every step to a high standard. After the installation, he stayed in touch to help fine tune the settings on the battery monitor.


We are completely satisfied with Dan's wonderful service and hope he will be available for maintenance and other improvements to our Roadtrek in the future.”

“I would definitely be labeled a “newbie” by every standard having never owned an RV. I jumped in after I retired and purchased a used Roadtrek. I asked a lot of questions and read all the manuals…and hoped for the best. I felt lucky and then felt doubly lucky when I was introduced to Dan Neeley. He came to my house and did a thorough inspection and a complete review of EVERY system. He worked on the generator, the refrigerator, the water pump, the furnace, the air conditioner, the water heater, the inverter, the batteries, applied silicon to the weatherstripping and then fixed all the door latches! After the day he spent working non-stop, I had confidence that I was ‘good-to-go’. (I definitely plan an annual maintenance inspection.)


Just this month, Dan installed 2 solar panels for me…what a job! He installed an advanced system on my Agile. It was like attending a gymnastic event just to watch him! He camped at my house in his RT (with all his tools) and did the job in my driveway…working 10 hr. days. In testing my solar system, he noticed a drain and found that the inverter switch was stuck in the “on” position…and changed it. I also had a small laundry list of repair items for him.

Dan is a Roadtrek Authorized Warranty Specialist, and boy oh boy does he know his Roadtreks!  He happened to be in the Southern California area so we had him come by to see if he could fix our latest mishap.  Dan not only expertly fixed our problem, and a few others he found in the process, but he gave us some time to answer the many questions we had.

“I’m very grateful for Dan Neeley’s RV Service. I purchased a 2008C 190V in June and it needed to be checked for problems with the batteries (I didn’t realize there were 2 batteries, so one was replaced but it didn’t last long since the other dead battery drained it) among other things, along with providing a systems walkthrough. He worked for two days to replace the inverter, perform overdue maintenance on the hot water heater, refrigerator, generator and do various repairs.

“We had the pleasure of working with Dan Neeley this week to do a thorough maintenance check on our 2013 Roadtrek. We are new to the Roadtrek world and not very familiar with all of the systems that make these vehicles the ideal portable home. Dan arrived at the time he indicated he would be at our home and provided us with a detailed overview of what his service call would entail. He was warm, friendly and very professional-we trusted him immediately! Once Dan began working on the van he was completely immersed in his work and became one with the Roadtrek. Periodically he would ask us to come outside to show us some simple maintenance task he felt would could annually do ourselves. We took copious notes and feel very confident his tutoring sessions will allow us to perform these tasks. 


Dan was so thorough and even fixed little issues that we were surprised he noticed. One example is we were missing a few rubber gaskets around the legs on one of the stove burners, which has caused an irritating rattle!  Dan had extra gaskets and solved the problem. Voila! No more rattle!   He inspected every system in the vehicle and made certain they were working efficiently. He showed us some new LED lights, which we purchased and they have made an amazing difference in the quality of light in the van.


We know that we are lifelong Dan Neeley clients after his visit to our home.  My husband has dubbed him the “Roadtrek Whisperer”!  I must add that last May we had an issue with our Roadtrek while on a photo shoot in Yellowstone. I had read reviews on Dan, so I decided to give him a call. Dan was packing to leave for Canada, but he chatted with us on the phone and even had us call him back to see if we resolved the issue…he did not charge us for this phone support…another indication of what an amazing man he is!


Dan comes to your home to work on your vehicle…you need to provide a flat surface (ideally) for your vehicle, electrical power, and water (nice hot coffee is an option!!). It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Dan Neeley and my husband and I give him our highest recommendation. His prices are very fair and we know because of him our little van will be around for a long time.”

“I am a recent owner of an older model (2008) Roadtrek 170 Popular.  The need to evaluate and probably service my generator, furnace, hot water tank, fridge, dump lines, inverter, awning, antenna, latches and things I did not know I had to keep an eye on soon became a priority.  I did my homework on line and discovered two things.  First, local or sometimes distant RV dealerships were not getting 5 star ratings, far from it, and appointments could be a problem. The second thing was the mention by others of this guy called Dan Neeley who if you could believe it comes to your home when he is in your area and fixes things.  


When approached by email Dan agreed to add me to his travel schedule.  He arrived in due course and has spent 4 or 5 days spread over a couple of weeks with my RT and displays a hunger to fix what needs fixing with a drive and work ethic I have not seen in any other repair man in any field.  I mean that.  He knows these class B's like the back of his hand and he seems to adopt your RT as his own and sets out to make its working parts like new again.  Within sensible limits he lets you watch and learn and even help.  He has a seemingly endless supply of RT parts in his van, small and large, that I defy you to source yourself. He has a 'line' with the Roadtrek company for sourcing quickly what he needs to order.  That is a big plus.  His fees are fair.  I recommend Dan Neeley without reservation.”
